A market for people?
People are overwhelmed with products, services and all of their affiliate marketing strategies and campaigns; therefore, it is clearly coming to the public that marketing is still efficient but at a decreasing rate, especially with the close of similarities between the majorities of products that emerge out of the same industry. Counting on the benefits, ingredients, welfare and advantages of a product is no longer a focal point to focus on, while trying to launch a marketing campaign, or even better, a buzz marketing campaign that counts on a word of mouth effort inorder to expand.
Why Marketing Buzz?
Companies are sick of spending too much money, to gain a small stake of the market; nonetheless, winning a share means losing another one to a competitor. As a precaution step, and smart behavior for an intelligent buzz marketing campaign, firms are currently counting on 3 main factors to expand, create brand awareness among public demographies and control an additional market share with a low cost investment. Here is, in our humble opinion, how these companies are applying their marketing plans:
1- Market people, not the product: the idea might stun you, but indeed, it turned out that sports is the biggest rally of individuals in a single place, or in a single geographical area; either a football game, NBA playoffs or a racing event such as the F1 or NASCAR or WRC, we can clearly notice that each sport has got its own favorite! The love of fans towards that particular athlete was created by marketing campaigns, unconsciously from your perspective of view, but smartly from the marketers’ side. Did you ever know that Michael Jordan is the owner of the most successful marketing strategy ever? Did you also know that Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are currently the main subjects to a massive football marketing plan? Isn’t it Lebron James’ case?
Briefly, marketing people to promote a product and/or a service is currently proving its efficiency; it is true that marketing sports athletes is highly expensive, but I think you should reconsider the idea after taking a quick glance upon the earning sheets of those athletes and the financial managers standing behind them.
2- Run away from traditional marketing strategies, and plunge into the Buzz marketing; use the people, use the society and use every potential tongue to tell about your product! Talk is cheap and speaking is free of charge so why not find a way to push people towards dropping a chat about you! How? Well this is where our dedicated teams get in charge, but I’ll give you a quick round up about how things work here:
a- Create a short video and post it on the popular video sharing sites; of corse, your video must induct certain specifications, such as a smart idea, funny snap shot or anything that is of an interest to the majority of people. The reason standing behind smartness, fun or humour and interest is to urge these individuals to forward your video towards others and therefore, expand rapidly and free of charge for the fact that most of the viral video sharing sites is FREE! So, why not use them?
b- Create an event, an idea or anything that would cause people to talk about it; create a need in the users’ perspective and oblige them to talk, tell and use your product. Just keep in mind that our marketing statistics revealed the fact that an individual can tell at least 5 other individuals about an idea, on a daily basis; take a moment to calculate what 5 and 5 and 5 can do at the end of a day… use people’s ability to talk and tell and start by your own company’s employees: push them to create accounts and comment upon your posted item or to tell about your event; this is telemarketing but with no phone calls and absolutely no phone bills. Buzz marketing, as a strategy, is one of the most successful ever; to master it, I think you should spend as much as President Obama did, or just expand slowly but in a clever way to reach the people’s minds and become the major subject of their chit chats.
c- Stay active by means of renewing and ameliorating the idea that you had earlier proposed to the public; people are curious to see and know more so do not hold them back. Even better, allow them to reach any needed information in the easiest of the means by providing a clear resource and source of information (website, video, article) and keep your posts updated so people who receive it a few days later, will still be able to forward it as a fresh copy. Do not count on a winning post to live for more than a month; try to change it or modify it by adding extra keywords, changing titles and or appearance of the posted item.
3- Be smart! Individuals are becoming more and more picky and products are becoming almost identical in shape, technology, performance, taste and in almost everything; therefore, specialize in being honest and sincere with your target market and potential custommer.
Targeting starts by the ability to pick smart keywords, often used by people in search for a service similar to yours… look for these keywords and tag them, use them and even buy them from search engines like google or VSEO sites such as youtube or dailymotion. It is the purchase of words that would redirect potential custommers, and specific target market into your website via a posted link upon these search engines or video search engines.
